Samsung plans to introduce digital assistant in Galaxy S8

All the popular mobile producing companies have embraced digital assistant in their mobile phones. Apple has Siri, Microsoft has Cortana, Google recently launched google assistant and Samsung is also following the same path. Samsung is preparing to introduce digital assistant in its Galaxy S8. It is named as AI Assistant.

AI assistant is the virtual assistant that allows users to do their tasks they have been doing from third-party applications.

AI Assistant will be developed by VIv Labs, artificial intelligence company Samsung acquired last month. Viv Labs is founded by developers of Apple’s Siri feature. Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be launched by April. The new technology Samsung is planning to introduce will give a boost in market sales and faith among customers that has been down by Note 7 recall. Note 7 recall has made the company incur a loss of $5 billion.
