The state-owned telecom operator, Nepal Telecom (NT) has extended the duration of various offers it started providing since 3 months from the occasion of the 10th anniversary. The extended offers are targeted to CDMA mobile subscribers under which prepaid and postpaid customers can talk under Friends and Family (FNF) package at Rs 1.55 and Rs 1.75 per minute respectively.
Those who are using Nepal Telecom EVDO ( Enhanced Voice-Data Optimized) can also enjoy reduced tariff on various volume based package. The charge has been set as follows:

The discounted rate of 20 Paisa per SMS for speaking and hearing disability is also extended. Similarly with the view of connecting local people with the health service providers via mobile phone network, the bonus scheme of Rs 1 for each 10 minutes of the call for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) has also been extended. Nepal Telecom has been providing special RUIM cards to hearing & speech impaired persons and FCHVs from its 10th anniversary on February 5 as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
