Instagram launched verified badges for celebrities, athletes and brands

Instagram has gone on to become a major global community with over 300 million users in these four years.It share more than 70 million photos and videos daily, surpassing the number of users of the micro blogging platform Twitter.

Having so many users, and in order to facilitate the users to follow the true accounts belonging to celebrities, athletes and brands, instead of impersonations, has made Instagram .Under the objective of improving the user experience, has decided to launch verified in the coming days badges. Aimed towards those celebrities, athletes and brands that have a high probability of being supplanted, as specified in a support page.

Another aspect that Instagram will take up the matter under the stated objective are spam accounts, which will be completely eliminated over time.It  also no longer be taken into account in the count of followers, which may notice some users in their accounts.

This, Instagram aims to become a community free from spam and fake accounts, forming part of the important work that began earlier this year, as indicated in its announcement . Finally, thanks Instagram users to use their platform during the last four years, which has led community is today
