The advancement technology in developed country is going to be headache soon. The scientist day by day innovating and inventing new technology that is dislodging the human being from many frontiers. Its more worries for low skill manpower that doesn’t possess any creativity will be soon replaced by the robots. Media has already been speculating that scientist have made much progress in developing the rebots that can think and act like human being. UK will soon be the the victim of advancement of technology.
The popular newspaper of UK telegraph , citing the experts, reports that en million British jobs could be taken over by computers and robots over the next 20 years, wiping out more than one in three roles.
The research carried out jointly by Deloitte, the Big Four accountancy firm, and the University of Oxford predicts that as much as 35pc of jobs across the country will be made jobless by technical advances over the next 10 to 20 years – some 10.8m positions.
Our findings thus imply that as technology races ahead, low-skill workers will reallocate to tasks that are non-susceptible to computerisation – i.e., tasks requiring creative and social intelligence. For workers to win the race, however, they will have to acquire creative and social skills,” that study says.
Angus Knowles-Cutler, London senior partner at Deloitte, said: “Technological advances are likely to cause a major shift in the UK labor market in the coming decades. Unless these changes are fully understood and anticipated, there will be a risk of avoidable unemployment and under-employment.
