China has once again captured the position of having world’s fastest computer.For the fourth consecutive time, Tianhe-2, a supercomputer developed by China’s National University of Defense Technology, has retained its position as the world’s No. 1 system China’s Tianhe-2 is on to, performing at 33.86 petaflop.The Tianhe-2 is at China’s National University of Defense Technology. It cost approximately $390 million to build and is comprised of thousands of Intel Intel Xeon E5-2692v2 12C 2.2GHz processors. It runs a version of Linux that was developed by the NUDT.
