Samsung was quite unhappy with the response they got from their early launched mobile phones, Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. These phones were not popular among the customers. Soon, they had to cut the price in many countries to increase the sales.
Today, Samsung is all set to unveil its next-generation Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus smartphones at its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 13 in New York.
IBNLIVE reports, the company was earlier speculated to unveil only the new Note, the curved lines on the invite hinted at the unveiling of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, a smartphone with a curved screen, as well.
According to Blass, the Note 5 will have a 5.66-inch (2560 x 1440) display and will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 chip. Other specs include 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 16-megapixel rear camera and 5 MP front camera. Samsung is also likely to release a QWERTY keyboard cover as an optional accessory for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
Blass, in a separate tweet, has also reported that the two phones will come with a 3000 mAh battery. The battery, as claimed, will offer a maximum standby time of 336 hours and maximum talk time of 21 hours.
