Ncell, privately owned telecommunication operator has been crowned Frost & Sullivan Nepal Mobile Service Provider of the Year 2016 for the second consecutive year. The globally recognized award was conferred by international growth partnership company Frost & Sullivan, and is a subset of its prestigious Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards which honors best-in-class companies of industries in Asia Pacific, including the Automotive, Energy, Building & Environment, Healthcare and Information Communication Technologies sectors.
The award recipients were evaluated based on a variety of actual market performance indicators which include total subscribers, mobile service revenue, blended Average Revenue per User (“ARPU”) and ARPU growth and service or business model innovation. Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Award is held annually in Singapore. It has acknowledged efforts of many outstanding companies from the Automotive, Energy, Building & Environment industries to the Healthcare, Information Communication Technologies and Logistics sectors in Asia Pacific.
