Apple introduces smart battery case for Iphone 6 and 6s

iPhone users has been facing the problem of early battery drainage. But it seems apple has addressed the problem of the users by introducing a battery case that is claimed to extend the iPhone’s battery life by a day, IBNlive reports. It further reports that priced at $99, the Smart Battery Case comes with a built-in battery and can be easily snapped on to an iPhone6/6s. As per the company’s claims, it increases the phone’s battery life by up to 25 hours.

“Charge your iPhone and battery case simultaneously for increased talk time up to 25 hours, Internet use up to 18 hours on LTE, and even longer audio and video playback,” says Apple’s product lisitng page.

According to the report it is available in charcoal grey and white colours, the case is charged via a standard Lightning port and can be charged simultaneously with the iPhone. With the Smart Battery Case on, the “intelligent battery status” is displayed on the iPhone Lock screen and in Notification Center, so you know exactly how much charge you have left.
