MCA to alert you of missed call

Every call is important. Besides realizing its importance sometimes we missed it. In view of subscribers’ need to be connected every second, telecos have missed call alert facility. Through this service, the called party, if busy, switched off or out of mobile coverage, gets calling party information through SMS notification as soon as they get back to the mobile network. Nepal telecom, Ncell, UTL, Smart Telecom and Nepal Satellite telecom are providing Missed call alert (MCA)service.

Nepal Telecom has provided Missed call alert service to its GSM subscribers.

To subscribe the service:

• Type SUB and send it to 5000

 

To deactivate the MCA service:

 

• Type DESUB and send it to 5000

 

Ncell has made ‘Missed call notification ‘ available  to its customers. With this service, customers receive detailed SMS of all the missed calls when they switch on mobile phone or when they enter network coverage area.

Activation Process:

Ncell customers can activate Missed Call Notification service through any of the following processes:

Activation Charge:

Weekly Charge: Rs. 2.00 (exclusive taxes) for Prepaid.

For Postpaid: Free of charges.

Nepal Satellite Telecom provides information on Caller ID, date and time of the missed call through missed call alert service to its subscribers. Subscribers will not be charged any activation or monthly charge.

To Activate the Missed Call Alert (MCA) Service:

Dial *333411#

OR

Go to new message in the message body then type A and send the SMS to 333411.

 

To De-Activate the Missed Call Alert (MCA) Service:

Dial *333421#

OR

Go to new message in the message body then type R and send the SMS to 333421.

 

Smart telecom has made two types to subscription available to its customers: weekly and monthly.

Subscribers can activate the service in following ways:

For weekly Subscription,

  To activate the service

• Type Subw & send to 4270

 

To deactivate the service

• Type Unsub & send to 4270

Activation Charge…….. Rs. 3 excluding tax

 

For Monthly Subscription,

 To activate the service

• Type Sub & send to 4270

  To deactivated the service

• Type Unsub & send to 4270

Activation Charge……….. Rs.10 without tax

Missed call alert service is provided to UTL customers on default. Customers get missed call alert notification through SMS.
