Google Pixel is here: the first phone designed by Google

CaptureGoogle has launched its first ever phones Pixel and Pixel XL. Earlier, it had been producing android based phones under nexus brand now we can have phones under Google brand called pixel. It has stated that with Pixel smartphones it is bringing in the best Google experience.

Pixel has 2.5D Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 on the front display and back glass. The glass on the back features Pixel Imprint, a fingerprint sensor. By simply swiping it you access your notifications. Pixel comes in two sizes, 5” or 5.5”, and three colors: Very Silver, Quite Black and Really Blue.

Pixel is the first phone with a built-in Google Assistant. Google Assistant is there to make your daily tasks more simple. Pixel has one of the best smartphone cameras. Light is a must to click the best picture and it is equipped with f/2.0 aperture and big 1.55 micron pixels that capture a lot of light. In any light condition, whether low or bright you can capture the best photos. The other cools features of pixel camera are smart burst and lens blur. Smart burst captures action photos and lens blur achieves the depth of field.

It comes with the new operating system, Android 7.1 Nougat. Android 7.1 Nougat gets updated as soon as the new updates are available. You need not spend extra minutes to have new updates installed. Pixel also features Google Duo and Google Allo, Google’s video call and messaging app.

And not to worry, Pixel’s battery lasts all day and charges quickly. You can get the battery that lasts for 7 hours in just 15 minutes. It is powered by a 3,450mAh battery. You can say goodbye to ‘storage is full’ notification for it has a standard 32GB of storage, expandable up to a 128GB if required.

Pixel is available for pre-order today starting at $649 in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany and Australia. Pre-orders in India will begin October 13.
